About the Group
There are almost a total of 100 students at the moment studying in different topics in Germany to persue their graduation (mostly) or PhD. The students have a common web-based forum where they share all their issues. Joining or visiting this group can be done using the link . Attractive Job-oofers are also posted sometimes in this forum! Active participation for helping people in Bangladesh was patronised a number of times through this forum - students came along with their cordial financial and emotional support for the pople of the beloved country during flood crises in the past years. Few of the members are present in the profile book.
About the community
The bangladeshi community in this country is though larger than the number of students yet considerably smaller compared to the number of Bangladeshis living in the other countries like Canada, USA or Australia. Lack of foreign integration policy and thus a reduced chance to be able to get settled have always been the deciding factor to fix the number of Bangladeshi (and other foreigners) to settle down here. Still, a considerable number of natives are living here for long time and doing business, Govt. service or research works in many different fields. This is now highly realistic to find few Bangladeshi restaurants, shops which deals in fresh fish and even the very popular and very authentic fishes like ilish, rui are also not just dreams! All together have made this place a homely one to live in.
